Durable/comfortable medium to high back chair with nice finish October 1, 2009

I was looking for a chair for my home office and computer area in my living room that would swivel around and the back would recline somewhat when needed. This black leather chair with the dark Mahogony finished wood seemed to be a perfect fit. It went together fairly easy, but I neglected to put the plastic covers (2 of them) correctly together which cover the metal base pole that allows the chair to go up and down, so it was a pain to take it apart (pounding with a rubber mallet) and re-due that part of the install, just look at all the pieces that come and take your time doing the install, right the first time. There were fairly detailed instructions, bye-the-way and spare parts and the tool required for the install. It seems very durable and sturdy so far and I do not expect any problems with it. Be aware that from your heel (bottom of foot) to the bottom of your leg (where the knee bends at your thigh) by the knee the chair only goes down to 18", for me this is fine, but for someone smaller than me the chair might not go low enough to the floor to have your feet flat on it. Oh, and I got mine at a great price (around $250) right here at Amazon and it came two days after I ordered it, on standard shipping.

I bought this chair for my personal use at home. It is well worth the money. Very comfortable. Swivels and tilts back. I can work on my computer or kick back and watch my TV. I would sleep in it if my husband would let me get away with it. Great Product!
